Elections for CAVA Board Members are held every year.
One half of Board Members come up for elections every year.
 
These are the requirements for any CAVA member who would like to serve on the Board of Directors

1.  The member should have paid their  membership dues no later than March 15 of the calendar year in which they plan to run.

2.  The member should be an active participant in the organization’s activities during the six months prior to elections.  These activities could include participation in CAVA activities as well as other veteran organizations activities. (V.S.O.)

3.  Any member wishing to participate in the electoral process mus have paid their dues no later than July 1 of the year in which the elections will take place. (This only applies to members who are not running for Board of
